yesterday morning i was in my grandparents neighborhood running errands and as busy as i was i just had to stop by.
nan made me a cup of tea and we sat and the three of us sat and chatted for a bit in the breakfast room.
i left with a few tomatoes from their garden and a pocketful of peppermint patties.
words cannot express how much i love these two and not a day goes by where i don’t appreciate having them around.
at 89 years old the both of them are still going strong.
the rest of my day felt a little brighter as i carried their energy along with me.
i love all of the memories i have spending time together and how so many things remind me of them….

This makes my heart warm and my eyes fill up. Beautiful pictures of two of the most special people in our lives. Thanks for capturing them in these moments.

I love this so, so much…I was really close with my grandparents as well. They lived to be 92 and 95…and sadly have been gone for a few years now. I miss them every day…and like you, have wonderful memories of time with them. I think of Noni every night as I prepare dinner and use her old salt shaker.

Love this post so much, it reminded me of all the special things that I associate with my (now passed) grandparents. My grandmother also had a table with a beautiful statue of Mary. Thank you for sharing!
